Prosper is a joint venture created by the Project on U.S. Leadership in Development and the Project on Prosperity and Development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.

Our projects highlight the changing landscape of international development with a focus on the shifting role of emerging nations and the private sector. We think development is strongest when all tools– including trade, development, and diplomacy– are leveraged to foster economic growth and improve livelihoods worldwide.  Prosper aims to inform and connect stakeholders from diverse communities in the public and private sectors.
